Dr. Acheson provides training and workshops to various professional audiences including forensic mental health professionals, attorneys, and legal nurse consultants. He is a former tenured associate professor and spent many years in the classroom teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in psychology and neuropsychology. His recent workshops have focused on implications of brain injury in criminal contexts; drugs of abuse (including methamphetamine, marijuana, and alcohol); the methods and process of psychological and neuropsychological assessment; and, the psychological and neuropsychological effects of COVID-19.
